Road Trip!!

Many families will sadly be vacation-less this summer with the economy still working on slowly recovering. Most people are lucky to still have jobs, never mind disposable income, raises or bonuses. Many people are also concerned about what the amount of air travel that occurs every day throughout the world is doing to our environment.
Perhaps a road trip would satisfy the craving for a holiday as well as being budget and planet friendly!! There are lots of great vacation places within driving distance from our homes. Or even better yet, a bus trip away! Instead of staying in an expensive hotel, consider renting a house out by the week or by the month for a lower cost and less wasted resources that are common in cheaper hotels that aren’t as energy efficient as they should be.
Think of all of the beaches that you could even just drive to. Beaches are my favorite holiday locale!! If you’re lucky enough to live near North Carolina, you could rent out this gorgeous beachfront home for less than you think or one of the other Outer Banks vacation rentals that still have available weeks for the spring summer and fall. I’m going to run off and talk to my family right now about a road trip holiday this summer instead of a “big trip” somewhere far away!
